Do you have guests coming over and want to impress them with your amazing cooking skills but are tight on time?! Well, I’d say this pork tenderloin recipe is the perfect meal to make for your friends or families. It only takes 30 minutes and it’s delicious! Add some cute little grape tomatoes and baked fries on the side, and you’re good to go!
Ingredients: (4-6 Servings)
- 2 lbs pork tenderloin
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450ºF.
- In a small bowl mix together the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and black pepper and rub the mixture all over both sides of the pork.
- In a large non-stick pan, add olive oil over medium high heat and sear both sides of the pork tenderloin (about 3 minutes each side). Turn off the heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt in the pan.
- If you’re using a oven proof skillet, pop the whole thing in the oven. If not, transfer the pork tenderloin to an oven tray and roast for about 15-20 minutes. Don’t forget to pour the buttery goodness to your tray and place a clove of garlic underneath the pork tenderloin for extra flavours.
Searing the pork tenderloin will make it crispy on the outside and placing it in the oven to roast will make it super juicy in the inside. I’d only add the garlic to roast in the oven if all your guests like garlic as much as I do. 🙂 I think the butter really makes a difference in this recipe. As always, feel free to add whatever spices you have at home – it’ll still turn out great in the end! Oh! And make sure to make 2 pork tenderloins, because your guests will definitely ask for seconds! 😉
