I can’t believe I’m sick right now. It’s summer! I wanted to enjoy my last week of summer… Anyways, whenever I don’t feel well, I make myself a glass of Warm Honey Ginger Water. I immediately feel better. To be honest, I drink this on a regular basis, because I know how healthy honey and ginger is. I’m a huge health enthusiast, if you haven’t realized that by now.
Ingredients:
Servings: 1
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon unpasteurized honey
- 1 sprig mint (optional)
- 1 wedge lime (optional)
If you still have pasteurized honey at home, you need to get rid of it and buy unpasteurized honey! Pasteurized honey has very little health properties, whereas Unpasteurized Honey has the maximum beneficial enzymes.
Method:
- Remove the skin off the ginger.
- Add sliced ginger and honey to a glass of boiling water.
- Add some fresh mint and a squeeze of lime (optional).
That’s it! Just 3 simple steps. This is barely a recipe, but I had to add it to my blog because I swear by it. I love this drink. It is so warm, refreshing, and comforting. Always makes me feel better.
