Serves: 2-4

  • 1-2 lbs. shrimp
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup parsley
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 wedge lime

As you can see, there’s really not a lot of ingredients needed for this recipe… So what excuse do you have?

First mince the garlic and parsley.

Then, turn the heat on high and melt the cold butter on the skillet.

After all the butter melted, add the minced garlic. Use the spatula to spread the garlic around for 30 seconds.

Then add the salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Mix all the spices around for another 30 seconds.

Next, toss in the shrimp, turn it to medium heat, and let it cook for about 3 minutes (let it cook for 5-7 minutes if you use raw shrimp… I used the cooked and peeled large shrimp).

Shrimp doesn’t take long to cook at all. Once it turns pinkish red, it is ready. Turn the stove off, add half the minced parsley, and squeeze in some lime juice all over the shrimp. Wow, it smells fantastic!

Add in the rest of the minced parsley and you’re ready to serve!

This goes well with bread, pasta, or rice. I ate it on its own because I couldn’t wait to dig in! 🙂

Give it a try and let me know how it goes!
