My fillets were in the freezer so I put them in the refrigerator to thaw over night. Wash the fillets with cold water and use paper towel to dry them. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐ F while you do the next step.

  1. After you wash the fillets you can pour a trickle of milk on both sides to rid them of that underwater “fishy” taste. It’s a trick not many people know about. And I also pour a bit of water in the tray that I use to bake my fillets. Shake it around.

    1. I used 1 Tbsp ground flax seed mixed with 3 Tbsp water. Mixed in a bowl and set aside until it โ€œgelledโ€. I also added 1 Tbsp olive oil to mix.

  2. Tried this tonight. After having some frozen basa fillers and not sure what to do with them. The smell was amazing as it was cooking.
    Thank you for sharing

  3. Turned out great! What a pleasant way to add flavour to an otherwise bland fish. Thank you so much.

  4. I’m not a big fish eater but my family loves fish and I always have to make twice the amount of fish. This recipe was so easy and tasty there was definitely no leftovers. I’m always looking for good recipes for fish and this recipe is really 5 star! Thanks so much.
